Fun Fellowship with Dick
June 2 Friday after work and you bet it is rush hour in Toronto. But for Otsonians –OtsoOtso brods and sis, the rush was to Ed Lee’s place for barbecue fellowship with Brod Dick Zamora. While host and chapter prexy Eddie commanded the grill, the brods and sis, drinks in hand spent a delightful time with Dick. The spring evening glowed with the warmth of a fine fellowship. This is a true prelude to Otso Otso just 9 weeks to go. Geny Sy ’66 was a surprise visitor from Pennsyivania with his wife Melita. As usual the joke is ’when Otsonians gather, side meeting on the reunion happens no matter’. More and more details were being locked in place to ensure that Otso Otso guests would have a truly memorable time in Toronto. Attending the fellowship and in the pictures with Dick Zamora are Eddie Lee ’53 and wife Marita, Josie Natividad ’57, Sol Agreda Allen ‘57, Baby Salazar ’57, Vigit Lozano ’60, Jun Mejia ‘61 and wife Malou, Nena Cervantes ’63, Rubi Talavera ’65 and Neil, Rogie Concepcion ’66 and Tess, Noel Cruz ’66 and Agnes, Bobby Palacios ’66 and Helen, Geny Sy ’66 and Melita, Rudy Ilag’67 and Linda, Pepe Buenavides ’69, Julius Torres ’72 and Henry Uy ’81.
Dick was here for a family reunion at Quebec. He left for Manila last night. “I shall return to Otso-Otso in August” were his parting words to us.
