*TORONTO SIGMA DELTANS - with visiting sisters!*

Thursday, May 11th was an unforgettable event -- that is, for the Toronto Sigma Deltans. Minda Laman came all the way from Manila to join her lawyer hubby, for a legal conference in Toronto, and sidestepped a little get together with local sigma deltans at 28 Hector St. in downtown Toronto. Actually, it's sis, Marilyn Anden's digs.

Then coincidentally, another sis, Lolita Arquiero was visiting from Florida with her Tagalog speaking husband, Ron Byrch. Amidst the nurses and doctors from Toronto, the Sigma Deltans poised and posed for a kodak moment and on this spread are some of the decent (not indecent!) looking shots. Ke aarte talaga naming Sigma Deltans. Shown in these exclusive poses are: /* Leah Cruz, Rubi Talavera, Toots Evidente, Marilyn Anden, Pauline Ramirez, Carmelita Salazar, Nena Cervantes, Rosemarie Gerardo, Minda Laman, Lolita Arquiero. Did I miss anyone?

And of course now it can be told.....did you know that Minda Laman was the topnotcher in the nurses board exams in 1958? did you know that Pauline Ramirez '2000 is the youngest sis in Toronto? did you know that Marilyn Anden can cook up a storm? did you know that it was Rosemarie Gerardo's birthday on May 10th? did you know that Toots Evidente was voted the sweetest Sigma Deltan of the night --- bringing in a decadent chocolate cake for Rosemarie and piano playing happy birthday? Sirang sira ang dieta ko sis!

For a change, Upsilonian brods were missing except for the lone ranger...errr, Upsilonian brod Rogie Concepcion, batch 66. .and after I posted the photos on the web entitled "Toronto Sigma Deltans", Rogie wrote and had the nerve to ask, "bakit ako wala sa pictures?" and my answer was, "da, kasi Toronto Sigma Deltans nga lang!!" .

Anyway, here's our one night stand with the visiting sisters from Florida and Manila .....hooray ---*Sigma Deltans in Toronto!*
